Some applicants may need to visit an ICP service center to provide their biometric information.
UAE nationals have the flexibility to apply for renewal of their Emirates ID between six and one month before the expiration date. In contrast, UAE residence visa holders can only request renewal when their residence visa is renewed or reissued.
