The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has written a letter to the Ministry of Law seeking a jail trial of PTI Chairman Imran Khan in the £190 million Al-Qadir Trust scandal.

The letter states that Imran Khan has been arrested in the Al-Qadir Trust scandal after his arrest warrants were issued by the court yesterday,

Also mentioned is that the PTI chairman has to be presented before the accountability court for physical remand today.

Given the current public law and order situation, it would be appropriate to conduct the trial of the case in Adiala Jail, the letter said.

NAB states that the court hearing against Imran Khan must be held in the Adiala Jail under Section 16B of the NAB Act.
