
Sindh CM Maqbool Baqar announces to exempt Palestinian students from hostel, tuition fee
KARACHI: Caretaker Chief Minister Justice (retd) Maqbool Baqir on Friday announced major concessions for Palestinian students studying in public engineering and medical colleges, Bol News reported.
The caretaker chief minister said 48 Palestinian students were studying in public engineering and medical colleges of Sindh. He directed to exempt tuition and hostel fees of the students.
Maqbool Baqir directed the universities to arrange for scholarships of the Palestinian students.
ON October 29, Amir Jamaat-i-Islami Sirajul Haq had said that the Muslim rulers had not fulfilled their duty which had been assigned to them by Allah Almighty.
On the other hand, the USA and western powers were openly and fully helping Israel, which was bombing residences, hospitals, schools and mosques.
He had expressed the views while addressing a a protest march in Islamabad on Sunday to condemn Israel’s brutal aggression in Gaza and overt US support for it.
