ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has released Forms 47 of 22 successful candidates of by-elections held on April 21 across the country.

The ECP issued Forms 47 of 22 successful candidates including five forms of members of National Assembly, 12 of Punjab Assembly, two of Balochistan Assembly and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly each.

The Form 47 of successful candidate, who has been declared winner after re-polling in Balochistan Assembly constituency No 50 Qila Abdullah, has also been released.

Independent candidate Mubarak Zeb Khan from NA-8 Bajaur has been declared successful whereas Faisal Amin Khan of the Sunny Ittehad Council (SIC) from NA-44, D I Khan; Ali Pervaiz of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from NA-119, Lahore; Nasheer Ahmad Khan of the PML-N from NA-132, Kasur and Rashid Minhas of the PML-N from NA-164 Lahore have also been announced winners in the by-elections.

In provincial assemblies, Falak Shabbir Awan of the PML-N from PP-2, Chakwal; Moosa Elahi of the PML-N from PP-32, Gujrat; Adnan Afzal Chatta of the PML-N from PP-36, Wazirabad; Ahmad Iqbal of the PML-N from PP-54, Narowal; Saeed Akbar Khan of the PML-N from PP-93, Bhakkar; Rana Afzal Hussain of the PML-N from PP-139, Sheikhupura; Mohammad Riaz of the PML-N from PP-147, Lahore; Mohammad Shoaib Siddiqui of Istehkam-i-Pakistan Party (IPP) from PP-149, Lahore; Chaudhry Mohammad Nawaz of the PML-N from PP-158, Lahore; Ali Ahmad Khan Leghari of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarian (PPPP) from PP-266, Rahim Yar Khan have been declared successful.
