RAWALPINDI: Founder of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) and former prime minister Imran Khan has appealed the judges, who are hearing his cases, to declare his cases’ judgements as soon as possible and without any delay.

He remarked that the postponement of justice equates to injustice.

He further stated that it’s common knowledge that all cases, including those involving Al-Qadir Trust, Iddat, and Cipher, are unfounded and fabricated.

Referencing Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Qazi Faez Isa’s statement that he had no pressure, Khan mentioned that individuals who resist wrongful actions often face pressure. However, he accused CJP Isa of aligning with the opponents of the PTI, insinuating that he has become a partisan figure.

He criticized the Chief Justice of Pakistan for allegedly depriving the PTI of its electoral symbol, the ‘Bat’, and failing to ensure a level playing field for the party during the general elections.

He claimed that the party’s fundamental human rights were infringed upon under the pretext of the May 9 incidents.

Imran expressed frustration that their plea regarding the investigation into the violence on May 9 has not been fixed for a hearing since May 25, 2023. Additionally, he noted that complaints regarding rigging in the February 8 elections have yet to be addressed.

He further alleged that deliberate delays have been made in addressing the issue of PTI’s reserved seats, observing that the judgments of the Supreme Court have revived the controversial ‘Doctrine of Necessity’.

Founder Chairman PTI Imran Khan said, “I have written a letter to the Telegraph in which I have told that not only my life is in danger, but as my wife is not being given medical treatment for the last three months, her life is also in danger.”
