Mohenjo Daro becomes hottest city in Sindh
With the continuing heat wave across the country, the major cities of Sindh are experiencing maximum temperature as the mercury hit 51-degree Celsius on Friday.
As per Met Office, the historic city of Mohenjo Daro became the hottest city of the country after a record 51 degrees Celsius was recorded that was followed by Jacobabad and Khairpur where the mercury hit 50 degrees Celsius.
Sukker experienced 48.5 degrees Celsius temperature while in Sibi it was recorded at 48 degrees. On the other hand, Mithi and Nawab Shah recorded 47 degrees Celsius, Multan, Bahawalpur 46 degrees Celsius, Faisalabad, DI Khan, Sargodha, Nokundi, Sahiwal, Hyderabad and Turbat also recorded 45 degrees Celsius.
In Karachi, as per Met Office, the hot weather continued as the temperature was recorded at 36.7 degrees Celsius.
The Met Office, in its daily advisory, predicted very hot weather throughout Sindh, including Karachi, in the next 24 hours.
