The Cambridge International Education announced the results for the IGCSE, O-level, and International AS and A-level exams conducted in May-June 2024 on Tuesday.
Students can check their results on the official Cambridge International website. This year, over 1.6 million entries were recorded for the Cambridge exams in Pakistan, marking a 9% increase compared to the previous year.
More than 226,000 candidates took the Cambridge O Levels and IGCSEs, while over 125,000 appeared in the Cambridge International AS and A Levels.
Last month, Cambridge International Education released a report regarding the leak of the A-level Mathematics paper in Pakistan.
The report highlighted Cambridge International’s concern over the May 2 leak of the maths paper in the South Asian country. Students and parents raised concerns, fearing such incidents could compromise exam transparency.
In response, Cambridge announced several measures to address the issue.
Cambridge International decided not to award marks to students for the leaked Mathematics exam. Instead, students’ marks will be based on their performance in other Mathematics exams.
The report also stated that all students would receive fair marks.
Students who wish to retake the exam can do so in November 2024, with no retake fee charged.
