Gas Supply Suspended in parts of Karachi this Sunday; Check areas and timings here

If you’re in Karachi, be prepared for a potential suspension of Sui gas supply on Sunday, August 4th, as SSGC works on a new pipeline project over the weekend.

According to an announcement by Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), several areas of the city will experience a 12-hour gas supply suspension on Sunday. The outage will last from 8 am to 8 pm and is intended to improve gas pressure for domestic, industrial, and commercial users.

The statement noted that the suspension is necessary due to the installation of a new 20-inch diameter, 12-kilometre gas distribution pipeline.

List of Affected Areas

Gas supply will be suspended in Korangi Sectors 21, 28, 29, 36-B, 36-G, and 37-A, as well as in Hashim Goth, Mansehra Colony, Allahabad Goth, and nearby areas, affecting both industrial and residential zones.

In recent weeks, water supply has also been disrupted in several parts of Karachi.
