ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has reaffirmed the party’s commitment to youth empowerment, pledging to continue leading efforts to create a Pakistan where every young person can realize their full potential.
In a message issued on International Youth Day, Chairman PPP extended his warmest greetings to the youth of Pakistan and endorsed the United Nations’ 2024 theme, “From Clicks to Progress: Youth Digital Pathways for Sustainable Development,” which highlights the transformative role of digital technology in fostering sustainable growth.
He emphasized that the youth are the true architects of Pakistan’s future and that both the state and society must equip them with the education, skills, and opportunities needed to drive the nation forward. Reflecting on the legacy of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, who inspired the youth and laid the foundations for a strong economy and defense, Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari urged the younger generation to study Bhutto’s life and ideals. He noted that both Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto sacrificed their lives for the nation, embodying a commitment to fight for basic rights.
Chairman PPP called on the youth to actively engage in the democratic process and to use their voices to bring about positive change, reminding them that they have the power to shape Pakistan’s future. “Your involvement is vital to building a Pakistan that upholds the values of justice, equality, and democracy,” he said.
Bilawal assured the youth that the PPP will continue to champion their rights and aspirations, working together to build a prosperous future for all.
