Winter rains hit parts of country
A new spell of monsoon rain is expected to hit Sindh on August 26, according to meteorologist Anjum Nazir Zaighum. Karachi, in particular, is forecasted to see significant rainfall on August 27 and 28 as the monsoon season progresses.
While the monsoon is active, Karachi’s rainfall is predicted to be mild, with only light showers anticipated.
Today, most districts in Sindh will experience hot and humid weather, though areas like Jacobabad, Dadu, Jamshoro, and Karachi might see rain along with thunderstorms and gusty winds later in the day.
In Karachi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 29°C, with a maximum expected to reach 33°C. Winds are blowing from the southwest at 16 kilometers per hour, and humidity levels are at 64 percent.
On Tuesday, Karachi had an overcast sky, with sea breezes and light rain reported in various areas. The weather forecast indicates that this pattern will continue, with cloudy skies and light rain expected through the evening and night over the next few days.
