In Lahore, Pakistani citizens planning to work in Malaysia must acquire a National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP) from the National Database Registration Authority (Nadra).
Any Pakistani citizen can apply for a NICOP, which allows visa-free travel to Pakistan for those with dual nationality. When applying for a NICOP for newborns born abroad, a passport number is mandatory.
Where to Apply for NICOP
You can apply for your NICOP by visiting a NADRA Registration Center (NRC) or through the Pak-Identity website.

You can apply for NICOP by going to the nearest NADRA Registration Center (NRC).
Following are the steps that you will be following at the NRC:
You will be issued a token.
Your photograph will be captured.
Your fingerprints and signature will be taken.
Your required data entry will be done, and the form will be printed to be reviewed by yourself.
You will be handed over a printed version of your application form.

You can apply for your Smart National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (SNICOP) by visiting the Pak Identity website and having it delivered to your doorstep.
New NICOP Fee for Malaysia in Pakistan for August 2024
As of August 2024, the normal fee for a new NICOP in Pakistan stands at Rs 5,820, the urgent fee is Rs 8,730, and the executive fee stands at Rs 11,640.
However, the normal fee for new NICOPs through online is $20, while the urgent and executive fees stand at $30 and $40, respectively.
