Petrol, diesel rates in Pakistan decreased by Rs8.47, Rs6.7/litre respectively

ISLAMABAD: The Finance Division announced a reduction in petrol prices by Rs8.47 per litre, primarily due to a decrease in global fuel prices.
Additionally, the federal government lowered the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) from Rs272.77 per litre to Rs266.07, marking a reduction of Rs6.7.
This decrease in fuel prices provides significant relief to the public just in time for the country’s 77th Independence Day celebrations tomorrow (August 14).
