The Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training in Islamabad has launched a new Pink Bus service called “No Fare No Barrier” to facilitate female teachers and students.

This initiative, directed by the Prime Minister, aims to ease daily commutes for women traveling from rural to urban areas, ensuring safer and more accessible transportation.

The Pink Bus service will operate 20 buses on specific routes throughout the city, offering free rides to its passengers. These buses will cover key areas such as Nilore, Bhara Kau, Humak, and I-14, connecting them to important destinations like the Secretariat and F-11/1 FGCH&E&MS. The service is designed to cater to the needs of women commuting during school hours, making it a convenient option for those who rely on public transport.
