Earlier in the day, the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) Islamabad accepted the bail plea of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Rauf Hassan.
ATC Judge Tahir Abbas Sipra heard the terror financing case against PTI leader Rauf Hassan, in which Prosecutor Raja Naveed and Rauf Hassan’s lawyer Ali Bukhari gave arguments.
During the hearing, Prosecutor Raja Naveed said that Rauf Hassan was named in the case immediately after Ahmad Waqas’s statement.
Rauf Hassan’s lawyer Ali Bukhari argued that Rauf Hassan is not named in the case, the FIR is blind, Rauf Hassan is accused of financing explosives, but he was not arrested with the explosives or from the crime scene.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor Raja Naveed requested to dismiss Rauf Hassan’s bail plea, which was rejected by the court. The court granted Rauf Hassan’s bail against a surety bond of Rs 200,000.
