The Sindh government is providing subsidized solar panels to low-income individuals to help lower electricity costs and promote renewable energy. This initiative seeks to improve energy access and assist households in reducing their dependence on traditional power sources.
In the first phase, 200,000 families will receive solar panels through the Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) across the region. According to recent updates, 50,000 systems are expected to arrive in Karachi this October.
