The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast scattered rain and gusty winds in Lahore and other parts of Punjab on Monday night and Tuesday, with occasional breaks. Currently, continental air dominates most of Pakistan, while a shallow westerly wave affects the northern and western regions.

Under these conditions, scattered rain and gusty winds are expected in Murree, Galliyat, Attock, Chakwal, Sialkot, Lahore, Dera Ghazi Khan, and surrounding areas on Monday night. Hot and humid weather will persist elsewhere in the province.

On Tuesday, most districts of Punjab are expected to experience hot and humid conditions. However, isolated rain and gusty winds may occur in Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Jhelum, Sialkot, Narowal, Gujrat, Bhakkar, Mianwali, Layyah, Noorpur Thal, and Dera Ghazi Khan during the morning.

In Lahore, temperatures are expected to reach between 36-38°C on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Over the last 24 hours, hot and dry weather prevailed across most parts of the country. Bhakkar was the hottest area in Punjab, with a maximum temperature of 41°C, while Bahawalpur recorded 40°C. Lahore’s maximum temperature was 36°C, with relative humidity recorded at 52% in the evening.
