The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast partly cloudy weather with light rain in some parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday and the following two days.
According to the synoptic situation, continental air is dominating most parts of Pakistan, with a shallow westerly wave expected to reach the extreme northern regions of the country by tomorrow evening or night.
Under these conditions, hot and dry weather is anticipated in most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Monday and the next two days. However, light rain, winds, or thunderstorms may occur in Chitral, Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Lakki Marwat, and Dera Ismail Khan during this period.
In Peshawar, the maximum temperature is expected to range between 37-39°C on Monday and 38-40°C on Tuesday. Meanwhile, hot and dry conditions were observed in Peshawar and most districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa over the last 24 hours.
Dera Ismail Khan recorded the highest temperature in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa at 38°C, with evening relative humidity at 63 percent.
In Peshawar, the maximum temperature was 37°C, with evening relative humidity recorded at 52 percent.
