The Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) has officially set the date for the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) 2024. The exam, scheduled for September 22, 2024, is a significant milestone for students aspiring to join medical and dental colleges across Pakistan.
The PMDC confirmed that 167,077 candidates will be appearing for this year’s test. The Dow University of Health Sciences will oversee the exam, which will be held at major test centers nationwide to accommodate the large number of students.
In Karachi, the MDCAT will take place at NED University and Dow University Ojha Campus. Of the 38,000 candidates from Sindh, 13,000 students will be taking the exam in Karachi. These centers are fully prepared to handle the high volume of participants efficiently.
The MDCAT is a critical step for students aiming to secure spots in medical and dental colleges in Pakistan. With the competition being extremely tough, students are working hard to perform well in the test. Achieving a high score is essential for admission to top institutions.
As the test day approaches, students are encouraged to stay focused on their studies and keep up with any official updates from the PMDC. Given the limited number of seats and the large number of applicants, the MDCAT 2024 is expected to be highly competitive.
For further information regarding the MDCAT 2024 schedule and exam locations, students can check the official PMDC website.
