The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecast partly cloudy weather with light rain or drizzle and gusty winds in Karachi and coastal areas of Sindh on Monday night and Tuesday.

Continental air currently dominates most of Pakistan, while a shallow westerly wave affects the northern and western regions.

Given these conditions, Karachi and coastal parts of Sindh are expected to experience partly cloudy skies with occasional light rain or drizzle and gusty winds on Monday night and Tuesday. Other areas of the province will remain hot and humid.

The maximum temperature in Karachi is expected to range between 34-36°C on Tuesday and Wednesday, while Hyderabad’s maximum temperature is forecasted to be between 37-39°C on the same days.

Over the past 24 hours, hot and humid conditions prevailed across most districts of Sindh. Sukkur recorded the highest temperature in the province at 41°C, while Dadu and Mohenjo-Daro recorded 40°C.
