ISLAMABAD: Rana Sanaullah on Thursday said that Justice Mansoor Ali Shah would not be appointed as the head of the constitutional bench.
In an interview with Independent Urdu, the Prime Minister’s Adviser for Political Affairs suggested that either Justice Aminuddin Khan or Justice Jamal Mandokhel could lead the constitutional bench.
Sanaullah clarified that neither the government nor any other entity is involved in preventing Justice Mansoor Ali Shah from taking the position, adding that the PTI holds the most significant influence in this matter.
He remarked, “The PTI claimed that they had spoken with him, and Justice Mansoor Ali Shah would address their concerns upon assuming office in October.”
He emphasized that it is harmful when political parties make such statements.
Regarding political cases, Sanaullah expressed his disapproval of involving women, stating that Bushra Bibi and the PTI founder’s sisters should not have been implicated in any cases.
