The city of Karachi is forecasted to have partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours, with sea breezes likely to persist.
According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, there is no chance of rain in the city today, and the weather will stay warm and dry with low humidity. The recorded minimum temperature was 24.5°C, while the maximum temperature is expected to be between 37°C and 39°C.
Earlier, on October 10 and 11, some of Karachi’s suburban areas saw scattered rainfall, including locations such as Super Highway, Steel Town, Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Gadap Town, Malir, North Karachi, Gulshan-e-Maymar, Gulistan-e-Johar, and Gulshan-e-Iqbal.
Strong winds accompanied by rain were reported in several parts of the city, providing much-needed relief from the ongoing heatwave.
Despite the brief cool-down, the temperature reached a maximum of 39°C today, with predictions indicating it could rise to 40°C on Friday and Saturday.
The Meteorological Department also indicated that Karachi’s weather is likely to remain hot, very hot, and dry for the next 4 to 5 days.
