Hot and dry weather is expected in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and most of Pakistan from Tuesday night through Thursday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

Continental winds are affecting most parts of the country, which will lead to hot and dry conditions in these areas. In the southern parts, gusty winds are likely.

For Wednesday, Islamabad and Rawalpindi are expected to have a maximum temperature of 33-35°C, and on Thursday, it will be slightly cooler at 32-34°C.

Over the last 24 hours, hot and dry weather also prevailed in these cities. The hottest places in Pakistan were Dadu and Bhakkar, with temperatures reaching 43°C. Other hot spots like Mohenjo-Daro, Nawabshah, and Padidan saw temperatures of 42°C.

In Islamabad, the maximum temperature recorded was 34°C, with 51% humidity in the evening. Similarly, Rawalpindi recorded a maximum temperature of 34°C with 32% humidity.
