Maryam Nawaz announces free tractors, land levelers for wheat farmers

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has announced that thousands of green tractors and land levelers will be distributed free of charge to farmers as part of a new initiative to increase wheat production in the province.

As per the announcement, 1,000 land levelers will be given for free to farmers who grow wheat.

Additionally, farmers who cultivate more than 25 acres of land across Punjab will receive one of 1,000 green tractors at no cost.

The distribution of tractors and land levelers will be done through a balloting system.

The Chief Minister assured, “The farmers of Punjab will not be left alone, and the Punjab government will fully support them.”
