The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) conducted seven operations across Pakistan, seizing over 300 kg of drugs valued at Rs. 20 million and arresting eight individuals, according to a spokesperson from ANF Headquarters.
In Karachi’s Al-Asif Square, ANF recovered 2 kg of hashish from a suspect who admitted to selling drugs to students in educational institutions.
In Gwadar’s Jiwani area, 245 kg of hashish was confiscated.
On Barki Road in Lahore, 34.8 kg of hashish and 7.2 kg of opium were discovered hidden in a vehicle, leading to the arrest of two suspects.
In Peshawar, near Pashtkhara Chowk on Ring Road, 6 kg of hashish was seized, and one suspect was apprehended.
During an operation in Daska near Glutian Mor, Sialkot, 3 kg of ice was found concealed in a vehicle, resulting in the arrest of one individual.
In Islamabad, 1.9 kg of ice was recovered from two suspects on Margalla Road.
Lastly, at Burhan Toll Plaza in Attock, ANF confiscated 500 grams of heroin and 500 grams of ice from a suspect.
All arrested individuals have been charged under the Narcotics Control Act, and investigations are ongoing.
