QAU leads Pakistan in TIMES World Subject Rankings 2024

ISLAMABAD: Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) Islamabad has once again demonstrated its academic excellence by securing prominent positions in the TIMES World 2024 Subject Rankings.

The university has excelled across various disciplines, solidifying its reputation as one of Pakistan’s premier higher education institutions. Globally, QAU achieved the 251-300 range in Life Sciences and Biological Sciences, 301-350 in Physical Sciences, Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, leading Pakistan in these fields.

The Business and Economics department attained a global ranking of 301-400, while Computer Sciences secured the 401-500 position. Furthermore, the Social Sciences departments were ranked between 501-600 globally.

An official from QAU attributed this success to the dedicated efforts of the university’s faculty, students, and contributors. “This remarkable feat serves as a testament to the relentless hard work and unwavering dedication of QAU esteemed faculty and talented students.”

“We extend our heartfelt congratulations to them on reaching this significant milestone.” “We also express our gratitude to the research students, staff, and alumni whose invaluable contributions have played a pivotal role in the university’s success” the official stated.

It is noteworthy that QAU stands as the only Pakistani university ranked No. 1 in the country, achieving 315th position in the QS Rankings and 401st position in the TIMES World Rankings.
