Dr. Farooq Sattar claims conspiracy is being plotted to incite ethnic clashes in Karachi
Senior leader of MQM Pakistan, Dr. Farooq Sattar, has claimed that a conspiracy is once again underway to incite violence between Muhajirs and Pashtuns, similar to past attempts to create ethnic conflicts.
Speaking at a press conference, he stated that linguistic riots have never been MQM’s policy. He further accused the Sindh government of continuing oppression and injustice, exploiting power for corruption and negligence.
Dr. Farooq Sattar criticized the government’s failure, stating that there is no real governance in Sindh. He also condemned the unchecked activities of the dumper mafia, which is causing suffering for the people of Karachi.
Referring to a past incident, he recalled that Karachi’s political landscape changed after student Bushra Zaidi was tragically crushed by a bus. He warned that a similar volatile situation is brewing in the city today.
He also expressed concerns over the dumper and container mafia operating freely in Karachi, urging people to remain peaceful despite the challenges.
