New details have emerged about Armaghan, the prime suspect in the Mustafa Amir murder case in Karachi.

Reports indicate that only a few close friends knew Armaghan by name, while his employees and others referred to him as “Boss.” Police investigations revealed that the house raided during the operation was recently acquired by Armaghan and was equipped with an advanced electrical system and over 35 surveillance cameras.

Additionally, no one was allowed to use mobile phones inside his house. During the police raid, Armaghan was reportedly monitoring the entire operation through security cameras.

Mustafa Amir went missing on January 6, leading to a kidnapping case being registered. The main suspect, Armaghan, was arrested from Karachi’s Defence area and was known to be involved in cryptocurrency and other illegal activities.

Earlier, suspect Shiraz confessed to the murder during a hearing at the Anti-Terrorism Court in Karachi. Shiraz disclosed that Mustafa Amir was at Armaghan’s house in Defence when a fight broke out. During the scuffle, they fatally beat Mustafa Amir and transported his body to Hub, Balochistan.

The court inquired if Shiraz had been mistreated by the police, which he denied. The Anti-Terrorism Court had previously granted police physical remand of Shiraz until February 21.

In another development, DNA samples collected from the crime scene matched those of Mustafa Amir’s mother. The samples were taken from a carpet in the room where Mustafa Amir was allegedly murdered. DIG CIA Muqaddas Haider confirmed the receipt of the DNA report and its match with the victim’s mother.

Karachi police had exhumed Mustafa Amir’s body, which was initially buried on January 16 after being found in a decomposed state, to collect DNA evidence.
