Pakistan and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) have agreed to enhance trade, investment, and development partnerships.
Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan met with OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha to discuss economic and trade cooperation among OIC member states.
During the meeting, Jam Kamal Khan stated, “Pakistan is committed to further strengthening its economic partnership with the OIC. Strengthening economic and trade relations within the Muslim world is essential in today’s time.”
Pakistan also extended an invitation to the OIC Secretary-General to visit the Made in Pakistan exhibition.
Furthermore, the Federal Minister for Commerce reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to hosting the 18th OIC Trade Exhibition in Lahore.
OIC Secretary-General Hissein Brahim Taha praised Pakistan’s efforts to promote economic integration.
During the meeting between Federal Minister for Commerce Jam Kamal Khan and the OIC Secretary-General, both sides also agreed to strengthen trade, investment, and development partnerships between Pakistan and the OIC.
