Pakistan will defend its dignity at all costs, Says Army Spokesperson to International Media

Rawalpindi: Pakistan has once again sent a strong and clear message to the world that its sovereignty and dignity are non-negotiable.

Speaking to Turkish and other international media, Pakistan Army spokesperson Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry expressed serious concern over India’s recent behavior. He strongly criticized the baseless accusations made by India following the tragic incident in Pahalgam, where Indian officials rushed to blame Pakistan just 10 minutes after the attack.

“An FIR was lodged against Pakistan without any investigation or evidence,” he said, highlighting how quickly India jumped to conclusions. According to the DG ISPR, India is using the Pahalgam incident as a cover to push a broader agenda by reviving the narrative of so-called jihadi elements.

Lt. Gen. Sharif pointed out that India’s recent actions, including the targeting of innocent civilians—women and children among them—are not just disturbing but a violation of basic human rights.

He warned that this pattern of misinformation and aggression must end, stressing that Pakistan will always stand tall in the face of such hostility. “Our armed forces and our people are united. We will protect our borders, our people, and our honor—whatever the cost,” he stated.
