RAWALPINDI: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chief Sheikh Rashid said Tuesday that Imran Khan’s arrest is not an issue but the real intention behind that is to kill him.
He was talking to the media when said that the government wants to ban Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and will carry a crackdown on the political party.
Sheikh Rashid also said, “They have no candidates, no polling agents, no preparations for the election, they only want to run away from elections.”
The leader also underscored that he will stand like a rock with Imran Khan till the end.
Sheikh Rashid appeared in court for the hearing of his case pertaining to his statement regarding Asif Ali Zardari.
