Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Firdous Ashiq Awan said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman should rise above the ego, intransigence and the vested interests.
According to details, Dr. Firdous in her tweets stressed for collective efforts to achieve national development and make Pakistan a great nation.

The Special Assistant said the nation has paid a heavy price for peace. It was through the sacrifices of lives that light of peace has been rekindled.
Firdous Ashiq Awan says dialogue is the only path in democracy to remove misunderstandings and evolve consensus.
In a tweet regarding political situation in the country, she stressed that matters can only be sorted out through negotiations.

She questioned why does JUI (F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman desire to put off this light of peace?
