The Pakistan Meteorological Department has predicted rain followed by snowfall on Sunday when Gilgit-Baltistan elections for the legislative assembly will be taking place.
According to the MET office, the first rain of winter in the Northern areas followed by Snowfall. MET office said that the new westerly winds spell would enter the region on Friday and expected to continue till Monday next week.
On the other hand, mainly dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country, however, partly cloudy weather condition is expected in northern areas, Kashmir, upper Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during the next twelve hours.
Smog and Fog expected in plain areas of Punjab, while Fog is expected in coastal areas of Makran during morning hours.

Islamabad 8 degree centigrade,
Lahore 15,
Karachi 21,
Peshawar 10,
Quetta and Murree 06,
Gilgit 04 and Muzaffarabad 07 degree centigrade.
According to Met Office forecast in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, partly cloudy and cold weather is likely to prevail in Srinagar and Leh while partly cloudy and dry weather in Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula, cold and dry in Pulwama and dry in Jammu.

Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramula 05 degree centigrade,
Jammu fifteen, Leh -4 four,
Anantnag and Shopian 08 degree centigrade.
