Man requires daily dialysis after selling kidney to buy iPhone
iPhone lovers are all across the world, and some of them can go to any extent to buy the new series of the phone.
In 2011, a man in China sold his kidney to buy the luxurious iPhone, but his fate made him bedridden for the rest of his life, and now requires dialysis daily.
Wang Shangku, who was 17-year-old back in 2011, had sold his kidney to buy an iPhone 4 and iPad 2 for $3,273 in the black market.
Wang developed an infection just a few months after the surgery and now resulted in an organ failure.
Over the years, his condition became worse that he was unable to leave his bed and needed daily dialysis to clean the toxins from his blood.
After suffering from renal deficiency, Wang is now attached to a dialysis machine and is likely to be bedridden for the rest of his life.
