Chinese liquor company to make its plant in Pakistan: Sources

A Chinese liquor company has got a permit to manufacture alcohol in Pakistan, as per the sources.

According to the details, the Chinese liquor company, Hui Coastal Brewery and Distillery Limited was registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) with the Hub (Balochistan address) on April 30, 2020.

The Excise, Taxation, and Anti-Narcotics Department of Balochistan permitted licenses to the company to manufacture alcohol in the country. Hui Coastal Brewery and Distillery Limited, as per the sources, has been launched as a joint venture at the Lasbela Industrial Estate Development Authority with Balochistan.

It is pertinent to mention here that this company will be China’s first company to make its liquor plant in Pakistan. The company is known for various famous alcohol brands, however, it will introduce two of those in the country. From manufacturing to packaging, everything would be carried out at its plant in Lasbela.
