Christian Community in Pakistan is celebrating Easter today with special prayers of peace and prosperity for the country.
However, due to the lock down amid the coronavirus outbreak, christian community of Pakistan is celebrating the festivities at their home.
For this purpose, churches across the country have also issued the notification urging christian citizens to stay at home and carry out the festivities, and avoid gatherings, maintaining social distance.
Easter is one of the biggest celebrations of the Christian calendar.
PM Imran Khan Wishes Christian Community
Prime Minister PM Imran Khan has felicitated the Christian citizens of the Pakistan on the occasion of Easter.
In a message on the occasion, wishing the Christian community, the Prime Minister PM appealed them to stay safe and keep your families safe during the Covid-19 pandemic.
He asked the Christian citizens to pray and celebrate at home by observing the national safety protocols.

The number of confirmed coronavirus cases in the country has passed the tally of 5000 after new cases reported till Saturday night.
