On his 74th birthday, King Charles reportedly felt depressed because Meghan Markle and Prince Harry turned down his request for a video call to see his grandchildren Archie and Lilibet.

King Charles intended to FaceTime Lilibet and Archie on his 74th birthday on November 14, according to The New Idea, which cited a royal insider. Meghan and Harry allegedly’refused to organise’ the video conversation.

King Charles allegedly urged the British government to modify the law to permit two more of his siblings to act on his behalf while he was away, but the California-based royal couple allegedly refused to allow Archie and Lilibet to talk to him.

According to some, adding Princess Anne and Prince Edward to the Counsellors of State would make Prince Harry “obsolete.”
