Wednesday marked the arrival of Prince William and Kate in the United States for their first trip in eight years. Since the passing of Queen Elizabeth in September, this is their first international trip.

The trip marks the royal couple’s first international excursion since the 40-year-old William succeeded his father, King Charles III, to the throne in September.
