After the release of his contentious memoir, the Duke of Sussex will speak in a livestreamed event about coping with loss and the value of personal healing.

Tickets for the March 4 event cost £17 plus £2.12 for UK consumers and come with a copy of Spare, which after its January release became the fastest-selling non-fiction book in the UK ever recorded.

The Myth of Normal: Trauma, Disease & Healing in a Toxic Society author Dr. Gabor Mate will be in attendance at the live event, and those who purchase tickets can also submit questions that will be chosen by a moderator and posed to the duke.

When the duke was only 12 years old, Harry‘s late mother, Diana, Princess of Wales, perished in a vehicle accident in Paris in 1997.

He referred to the princess as his “guardian angel” and stated that she is with him “all the time” in Spare, where he also discussed how difficult it was to live with her passing.

The late Queen, who was also Harry’s grandmother, passed away in September 2022, one year after the Duke of Edinburgh, his paternal grandfather.

The duchess miscarried in the summer of 2020, one year after the birth of her first son Archie, and the duke and his wife, Meghan, have spoken about the child they lost since then.

In honour of Harry‘s mother, Diana, the couple gave their daughter Lilibet, better known as Lili, who will turn 2 in June, the middle name Lili. The Queen family nickname was Lilibet.

Harry’s tell-all autobiography, which was ghostwritten, made clear how frustrated he was with his family. He alleged that after calling the Duchess of Sussex “difficult,” “mean,” and “aggressive” at Harry’s then-home Nottingham Cottage, his brother William, now the Prince of Wales, knocked him to the ground.

The duke asserted that the Queen Consort sacrificed him on “her personal PR altar” and that his father, the current King, put his own interests ahead of Harry’s out of jealousy for Meghan and the Princess of Wales.

The duke, who moved to the US in 2020 and now resides in California, has acknowledged that he has enough material for two books but has withheld it out of fear that his father and brother will “never forgive” him.

Harry may or may not be given a formal invitation to the coronation of his father in May.

That comes amid accusations that Meghan Markle has been “very humiliated” by the controversy surrounding Prince Harry’s memoirs, in which he acknowledged losing his virginity to a lady behind a pub. It was later discovered that this woman was his childhood friend Sasha Walpole.

Ms. Walpole coming forward, according to Kinsey Schofield, was embarrassing for the Sussexes.
