A friend of Sarah Ferguson is now in the middle of a scandal after her ex-husband Prince Andrew settled a civil lawsuit alleging sexual abuse against him last year.
A Texan billionaire friend of the Duchess of York is being sued for allegedly supporting a sex trafficking ring. After they became friends, 63-year-old Ferguson flew to the United States to meet 72-year-old Trammell Crow, a property magnate worth £6 billion.
Two women have filed a lawsuit against the environmental philanthropist, claiming that he funded a ring that abused them sexually.
According to documents obtained by, the two alleged victims filed a lawsuit against Crow and alleged associates in November in California. According to the lawsuit, the ring used prescription drugs to keep the women high.
The documents stated, “Crow maintained what he called lingerie rooms in each property he owned in which he kept a variety of lingerie for female guests to wear, as well as what he called ‘stripper shoes’.”
The accusations are described as “absurd and blatantly false” by Crow’s attorney, who will request that the case be dismissed.
“The Duchess has only met Mr. Crow once with others to discuss environmental issues,” according to a Fergie spokesperson.
Fergie’s visits to Mr. Crow come as her ex-husband Andrew, who is living with her once more, is concerned about losing their £30 million Windsor home.
After the “Frogxit” eviction of Harry and Meghan following the Coronation, the Duke has been given the keys to the nearby Frogmore Cottage.
Andrew, 63, also worries that his brother King Charles will cut his £249,000 annual grant next month.
