Meghan Markle donned her “best kit” to conceal her “dark” thoughts
Meghan Markle was concerned that the Royals would not provide security for her family or her baby Archie. When they got ready to depart Britain, the Duchess of Sussex questioned her husband, Prince Harry, about their future.
In his book “Spare,” which describes the dialogue, Harry writes: “We agreed that it did not really matter where we lived as long as the Palace kept its promise to keep us safe, which I felt it had made. You do not think they would ever pull our security, do you? Meg questioned me one night. Never. Not in this climate of hate. And not after what happened to my mother.”
Harry said to himself, “Furthermore, not after my Uncle Andrew. He was suspected of sexually assaulting a young woman and entangled in a scandalous situation, yet no one had even dared to propose that he lose his protection. Sex offenses were not among the complaints people had against us, whatever they were.”
