Mehdi Hassan’s son responds to Ustad Tafu’s disrespectful remarks about his father
Mehdi Hassan, one of Pakistan’s greatest musicians and a legend in South Asia is revered as the Shahanshah e Ghazal, or the King of Ghazals. Imran Mehdi Hassan, son of Mehdi Hassan Sahab, has come forward to address Ustad Tafu’s insulting comment. He said that “they have always respected Ustad Tafu as a family but he just lowered his status by saying something so negative. The world knows how big a legend Mehdi Hassan is and Ustad Tafu will never get the same respect that he had before he said this.”
