Nadia Khan began her career with PTV and has since expanded her work to include dramas, morning shows, and now a critique show. Throughout her career, she has remained unapologetically herself. Recently, as a guest on “Hasna Mana Hai”, she discussed her new role as a critic and opened up about facing paid criticism from others.

Nadia shared that “she is qualified to review dramas. She added that she used to do a program where she used to review shows and read letters from the audience way back in the day. She then went on to host a serious box office show where she used to review films before their release and her reviews impacted the film’s performance. Thus she knows how content should be and is qualified to review dramas.”

She also revealed that “all the criticism that came on her shows in Ramadan and otherwise was actually paid. She said that someone from the industry told her that colleagues or rival channels run paid campaigns against you when you are a hit. She was advised to do a counter-campaign in her favor but refused.”
