Kashif Mehmood was a guest on ‘Mazaq Raat’ and revealed the struggles he had in the industry. He said “he was an extra for 7 years and then his shot was aired on PTV with Resham where his face was not even showing. He still kept working with the belief that one day he will gain recognition and he later on became a household name.”

He revealed that “he produced his drama ‘Ashiana’ while carrying a significant amount of debt. Although the drama became a superhit, the channel failed to pay him. Later, the show aired on PTV, allowing him to repay all the debt he had accumulated.”
