Shamoon Abbasi expressed condolences for the lives lost but criticized the Indian media for spreading false propaganda without proper research. He emphasized taking the time to understand the situation before speaking, unlike the Indian outlets promoting jingoism. Yasir Nawaz also shared a video, questioning, “What do Indians think? Are we wearing bangles?” He reminded viewers that Pakistan is also a nuclear power and stressed that, regardless of political differences, the nation stands united.

Indian media has once again fueled jingoistic narratives, while social media users have begun issuing war threats against Pakistan. In response, Pakistanis have turned to memes as their form of resistance. As several Indian celebrities voice extremist opinions, Pakistani celebrities have also stepped forward to share their thoughts and stand in defense of their country.

Shamoon Abbasi and Yasir Nawaz took to Instagram to call out Indian jingoism. Farhan Saeed and Umair Jaswal criticized Indian propaganda, calling it cringeworthy.
