Amir Khan Receives Honorary Rank from Pakistan Army

Amir Khan, a former British boxer, has recently been bestowed with the honorary rank of captain by the Pakistan Army. Known for his prolific boxing career and numerous championship victories, Khan originally hails from Pakistan and commands a significant fan base in the country.

Throughout the years spanning from 2005 to 2022, he actively participated in various boxing competitions. Currently retired from professional boxing, Khan now embraces a fulfilling post-retirement life.

Beyond his sporting achievements, Khan is recognized for his philanthropic endeavors, particularly his recent charity work aiding Palestinians, which garnered widespread attention.

The Pakistan Army recently bestowed the rank of captain upon the esteemed former British boxer. Amir Khan proudly showcased his new honor by sharing a video and stunning photographs of donning the distinguished Pakistan Army uniform, highlighting his new status as Captain.

He said, “I have been honoured with the rank of Captain by the Pakistan Army, my name Amir written over it”.
