According to a news agency, three people have died, whereas seven left injured after riots break out during Football Championship match in Honduras.
As per the media reports, violence broke out among the fans of Olympia and Motagua clubs.
Hospital spokesperson Joleth stated that three have died among the seven people, who were admitted to the hospital in critical conditions.
Whereas, four of them are being provided with medical aid in the emergency.
According to the police, violence broke out after the bus carrying Motagua players was attacked.
President of the club Paedro Atla stated that three players have been injured in the attack.
Chief of Olympia club Raffell valida said that it’s a tragic incident and has to be severely sanctioned.
The match was cancelled by the officials after the incident.
Injured are being treated at local hospitals, as per the resources.
