Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on the recommendations of cricket committee has decided not to extend coach Micky Arthur’s contract.

According to the details, Micky Arthur no more remains Pakistan’s head coach.

PCB has also decided that all the other coaching staff would also not be given contract extensions.

In a statement by PCB, it is said that head coach Micky Arthur, batting coach Grant Flower, bowling coach Azhar Mehmood, and trainer Grant contracts will not be extended.

Cricket committee members unanimously decided not to extend the contracts of the coaching staff.

Chairman PCB Ahsan Mani approved the recommendations of not extending the contracts. Ahsan Mani also reiterated that cricket committee has decided to bring in new coaching staff.

The cricket committee to analyses coaching performance include experienced officials. I pray for the relieved coaching staff to have a better future ahead, he added.

Ahsan Mani also said that PCB will keep taking decisions to make Pakistan cricket better.

According to the details, under the leadership of Managing director Waseem Khan, the cricket committee held a long meeting.

Head coach Micky Arthur, captain Sarfaraz Ahmad, and chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq presented the three year performance of the team in the meeting.

Cricket committee recommended chairman PCB Ahsan Mani to relieve coaching staff off their duties after team failed to qualify for world cup 19’ semifinal.

After the recommendations, it was decided to not extend the contracts of the coaching staff.

According to sources, PCB will advertise soon for the appointment of the new coaching staff.
