Australia retained the Ashes with a thrilling win in the fourth Test against England.

According to details, Australia defeated England by 185 runs in the series of five matches. While chasing the target of 383, England team was all out at 197 runs.

Australia has retained the Ashes on enemy soil after taking an unassailable 2-1 series lead at Old Trafford, beating England by 185 runs on the final day with one Test still to play.

Steve Smith had been hard work to get out and was given man of the match after his double century. Ultimately, Pat Cummins limited the England players to 301 with his bowling.

After declaring their second innings on 186-6, with a lead of 382, thanks to yet another outstanding innings from Steve Smith, who made 82, Australia heaped the pressure on England with two wickets late in the day.

Joe Root, England team’s captain made 0 runs throughout the series.

In August, England had defeated Australia by one wicket to win an epic third Test at Headingley and kept the Ashes alive.

Unbeaten century-maker Ben Stokes delivered England an unprecedented and unbelievable victory in the third Ashes Test.

England, bowled out for just 67 in their first innings, needed 73 more runs to reach a victory target of 359 when last man, the bespectacled Jack Leach, came into bat on the fourth day.
