Misbah-ul-Haq, the head coach of the National Cricket Team, says playing in Australia is a challenge, the conditions are different, but playing is a challenge.

Prior to the practice session at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Misbah-ul-Haq told media that it is a challenge for every team to come to Australia and play, even when the conditions are different.

He said that Pakistan’s traditional “unpredictability” is not necessarily a good thing and that he would want his side to be “more consistent” rather than oscillate between extremities.

Misbah said that the Australia tours are always challenging for away teams but the current one is an even bigger one due to the newly inducted young blood in the Pakistan side.

“If we are disciplined enough, we can overcome these challenges and produce good results,” he said.

Misbah says captaincy for Babar Azam is a new experience, Azhar Ali is a successful Test batsman, telling both of them to keep the first focus on their batting.

“If all the players focus on their own department, things will get easier, there will be an effort to ensure consistent performance is a danger not only to Australia but also to us,” Misbah said.

Remember that Pakistan will play three T20s and two test matches against Australia.

First T20 to be played on 3rd November, second on 5th and third match on 8th November.
