Pakistan’s all-rounder Babar Azam ranks top as International Cricket Council (ICC) released player rankings for T20 batsmen 2020 on Saturday.

According to the details, Babar Azam is on top of the list for T20 batsmen 2020 as he gained 879 points.

Whereas, Australia’s Aaron Finch stands second with (810) points, and England’s Dawid Malan with (782) ratings, stood third.

According to the latest rankings released by ICC, the top-10 batsmen rankings have not changed at all in the first eight positions.

Moreover, India’s KL Rahul has retained the sixth position in the first ICC Batsmen’s T20I Player Rankings.

In the series that India won 2-0 with one match washed out, KL Rahul scored blistering 45 and 54 to stake a claim for the 2nd opener’s role behind Rohit Sharma in India’s limited-overs squad.

Rahul has gained 26 points is now on 760 rating points, just six behind Australia’s Glenn Maxwell.

KL Rahul is the highest-ranked Indian batsman.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli has also advanced one place to take the 9th position in the recent list.

Manish Pandey has advanced four places, ranked 70th.

Meanwhile, young India fast bowlers have also taken big leaps in the ICC Men’s T20I Player Rankings for Bowlers.

Earlier, Babar Azam made a jump of three spots to achieve his career-best ranking of number 6 in ICC’s latest test rankings.

Indian skipper Virat Kohli will end the year as the top ranked batsman.

Kohli (928) remained 17 points ahead of Australia’s Steve Smith who occupied the second spot.

While New Zealand skipper Kane Willamson (864) ends the year at number three.

Cheteshwar Pujara (791) retained his fourth place but Rahane, who slipped to seventh, was replaced by Pakistan’s Babar Azam.
